"How We Would Spend the Winning Money"

Five thousand ringgit is a lot of money for school kids like us. If we win, planning how to use the money would be our priority. We have discussed with our teachers and we have come up with four activities how we would spend the winning money.

First and foremost, we would expand our interest on the program ‘Go green & save the world’ to much younger generation. We planned to give a special demonstration and talk to a selected kindergarten children the importance of saving energy and reduce carbon emission. In this way we can promote positive attitude towards taking care of our earth at a very young age. For this occasion we need to spend approximately RM1000 for the activities as well as a lot of food and prizes to give away to capture their attention and heart.

Secondly, we would like to spend the money on buying a set of computer for our school. A complete set with printer would cost about RM2000. The usage of this computer would be mainly for students to browse activities or information on saving energy or the world so that we could produce bulletins about the matter periodically. Though we do have computers in school but they are insufficient and we do not have any access to the school computers at night or in the evening. With this computer, we can have more students to participate not only to write but they could also make movies. In this way we hope that more students would open their mind in the understanding of saving energy to save our world.

As a token of appreciation to the school, we would donate RM1000 to the school to carry out school programmes. We are aware that without the support from the school our project would not be successful.

Last but not least we would like to treat ourselves after all the hardwork and the dedication that we have been through especially to our teachers who were behind our success. We may go for lunch to a hotel or some good restaurants to treat ourselves..

We hope that we would win and are able to carry out the activities that we have planned.

Thank you.
